The Historic Montford Garden Tour Returns!
The Historic Montford Garden Tour, a favorite community fundraiser, returns on Saturday, June 7, 10 am – 4 pm. Featuring eight delightful gardens, local music, plein air artists, and a garden information fair, the Montford Garden Tour will be a fun and memorable day for everyone!
This year’s generous garden hosts faced unexpected challenges when Hurricane Helene ravaged Western North Carolina last fall. Many century-old trees were laid on the ground by 100 mph wind gusts. Some shady gardens are now sunny gardens. But all our gardens illustrate the resiliency of our community. Appropriately, proceeds from this year’s event will help replace the hurricane-ravaged tree canopy
