Mountain Native Landscape Design  provides landscape design, consulting, and installation utilizing ecological principles and native plants that are beautiful to people and beautiful to wildlife. Native plants can tolerate winter temperatures, summer heat, drought, and insect predation, all without ever needing to be watered, fertilized, and sprayed and thus are a more sustainable solution for present day landscaping. Learn from a certified Blue Ridge Naturalist how your landscape can provide for pollinators, serve as a genetic reservoir for diversity, and clean our stormwater.

Carolina Native Nursery in Burnsville, NC, has long been a vital source for high-quality native plants. When Hurricane Helene struck, we lost 90% of our inventory. Despite the devastation, Carolina Native Nursery has found hope in the strength of its community support and is committed to restoring its operations and dedicated to its mission of providing high-quality native plants to the region. We are replanting and reestablishing lost inventory to ensure that the nursery continues to serve as a key resource for sustainable landscaping in the Southeast. Our Bee Native Plant Shop has reopened. You can support the nursery by purchasing plants, making donations, or simply spreading the word.
